Vivian P. Wills, 95, of Fitzgerald, GA and formerly of Sandborn, IN, passed away Monday, October 3, 2011. She was born in Odon, IN, on October 12, 1915 to Edgar D. and Olive (Miller) Meek. Vivian married Malone Wills on October 15, 1938.

Vivian was a homemaker and a former member of the Sandborn United Methodist Church, a former member, music director and Sunday School teacher at Odon Nazarene Church in Odon, IN.

Survivors include her children; Phyllis Kay Batton of Fitzgerald, GA, Stephen (Joellyn) Wills of Mahomet, IL, and Sara Wills of Lyons, IN; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Malone Wills (February 25, 1998); daughter, Nancy Jean Lake (February 2006); three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald, GA with Brother David Bohler officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at the Sandborn United Methodist Church in Sandborn, IN with Rev. Tom Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at the Sandborn Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Sunday at the church.

The family has entrusted Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, IN with the local funeral arrangements.
