William 'Bill' McClellan Ferguson, 80, of Sandborn, Indiana, went to Heaven peacefully surrounded by his family at his home, on Friday, November 13, 2015. He was born on October 21, 1935 in Sandborn to Samuel and Augusta Irene (Elkins) Ferguson. Bill married Shirley Ann Myers on January 8, 1955.

Bill was a member of the Sandborn First Christian Church and the Sandborn Lions Club. He worked as a construction laborer until his retirement.

Survivors include: one daughter, Karen (Jay) Blanton of Sandborn; grandchildren, Benjamin and Bradlee Blanton; great-grandchildren, Destiny and Gage Blanton; granddaughter-in-law, Dainielle Blanton of Westphalia; sisters, Wanda Burns of Columbus, IN, Marion Sue Tressler of Defiance, OH and Betty Phegley of Switz City.

Bill was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Shirley Ann Ferguson; son, Ricky Lee Ferguson; grandson, Brandon Blanton; sister, Maxine Myers; brothers, Alfred Ferguson and Bob Ferguson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Sandborn First Christian Church with Bryan Sanders officiating. Bill will be laid to rest in the Sandborn Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the church on Sunday, November 15 and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Monday.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Sandborn First Christian Church or the Sandborn Lions Club in memory of Bill. Envelopes will be available at the church.
