William H. 'Bill' Nash, 74, of Lyons, Indiana, went to Heaven surrounded by his family, on Thursday, July 7, 2016 in Indianapolis. He was born in Paxton, Indiana on June 15, 1942 and was the son of Arthur and Opal (Watson) Nash. Bill married the love of his life, Priscilla 'Lanie' Fortner on June 18, 1967.

Bill had retired after many years of faithful service as the minister at Westphalia Christian Church. He had earned a Master's Degree from Lincoln Christian College. Bill was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather

Survivors include: his wife, Priscilla 'Lanie' Nash; daughter, Renee (David) Jones of Lyons; son, Eric (Jill) Nash of Linton; grandchildren, Joshua and Haley of Lyons and Jody of Ohio; two brothers, Mike (Karen) Nash of Shelburn and Jerry (Jan) Nash of Terre Haute.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Archie Ellett officiating. Bill will be laid to rest in the Sandborn Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 10 and from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Bill. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
