William M. Hunley, 92, of Dugger, Indiana, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2007, at Healthsouth Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. Born in Linton, Indiana, on March 27, 1915, he was the son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Geer) Hunley. He married Helen V. (Small) on August 11, 1933 where they had been married for over 70 years before her passing on February 1, 2004 .

Bill owned/operated Dugger Electric Equipment Company for 50 years before his retirement in 1984. Bill was a member of the Saron United Church of Christ in Linton, the Dugger Masonic Lodge #721 F & AM (50 year member), Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute, Zorah Shrine of Terre Haute, BPO Elks #866 of Linton, Greene and Sullivan Co. Shrine Clubs and was a life member of the Loyal Order of the Moose of Washington.

Survivors include Daughter, Patricia Gayle (BK) Poindexter of Bluffton, son, William M. Hunley and companion Paula Jean Reed of Tombstone, AZ , son, Robert E.(Susan) Hunley of Dugger Grandchildren: Devon (Donald) Willey of Celina, OH, Clay (JoAnne) Poindexter and Blake Poindexter both of Bluffton, Gay (Barry) Willits of Scottsdale, AZ, William III (Amy) Hunley and Nancy (Gary) Martinez both of Tombstone, AZ, Jennifer (Jeff) Hawkins and Robert Hunley, II both of Sullivan, Tom (Debbie) Hunley of Fishers, IN. Great Grandchildren: Carson and Tate Willey, Michael Wood, Nick, Chet and Cal Willits, Becky Kiensman, Felicia Nunez, Arabelle Rose Martinez, Erin Hawkins and Ashlyn Hunley. Special friend Hildred Wolfe.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen, three brothers and five sisters.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, June 11, 2007. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM Monday evening. Funeral services will be held at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel on Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at 10:30 AM, with Rev. Mike Roth officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton, Indiana.
