Wilma J. Roush, 105, of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Linton, passed from this life to Heaven, on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Clearvista Health Campus at Indianapolis. She was born on April 2, 1918 in Terre Haute to Homer and Zelta (Bennett) Jackson. Wilma married the love of her life, Earl M. 'Bud' Roush on January 3, 1941.

Wilma was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Linton and the Brown County Plein Air Society. She was also involved in the community, serving on the AM Risher Pool Board and Greene County Humane Society. Wilma most enjoyed being a homemaker, mother, and arguably the best cherry pie maker.

Family left to cherish the memories of Wilma include son, Douglas (Sandy Fishel) Roush and granddaughter, Stevi (Jason) Kersh, both of Indianapolis.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bud Roush, two sisters, Pauline and Fern, and any number of furry-faced friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the animal shelter of your choosing.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery in Linton with Rev. Ben Biggs officiating.
