Wilson D. Brewer, 68, of rural Linton, IN, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2011, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born in Linton on February 17, 1943, to Foster Roosevelt and Viles Mary (Sexton) Brewer. Wilson married Betty Sue O'Haver on November 10, 1961.

Wilson was a US Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam War. Later he began work at NWSC Crane, where he worked as an auditor for 33 years. Wilson retired in 1996. He was a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church and he truly enjoyed his leisure time hobby of woodworking.

Survivors include his wife, Betty S. Brewer; three daughters: Christina (Ralph) Deeds of Linton, Kimberly (Joe) Sibrel of Jasper, and Dr. Shelley Brewer of Houston, TX; six grandchildren: Kali, Dustin, Chloe, Hannah, Beau, and Elijah; four brothers: Derward Brewer of Carlisle, Rex Brewer of Sandborn, Howard Brewer of Dugger, and Nelson Brewer of Sullivan.

Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery, with Pastor Bradley Darr officiating. There will be no public visitation.
