Yvonne M. Snider, 45, of Linton, IN, passed away Friday, February 17, 2012, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born in Linton on June 23, 1966, to Melvin L. Hickey and Dorothy J. (Bland). April 23, 1999, she married Walter Snider, who survives.

Yvonne was a member of the Worthington Assembly of God Church. She had worked at the General Electric plant in Bloomington and for H & R Block of Linton before retiring in 1994.

Survivors include her husband, Walter; two step-daughters: April Evans of Punta Gorde, FL and Melissa Bennett of Vincennes, IN; three step-grandchildren, and two sisters: Kim Barker of Terre Haute, IN and Julie Richardson of Lyons, IN.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy (Bland) Jerrell and one brother, Carl Hickey.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at the Walker Cemetery in Worthington, IN.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Wednesday, February 22, 2012, prior to the graveside service.
