Zina A. Bennett, 50, of Linton, passed away Sun. morning Jan. 5, 2014, at Greene County General Hospital. She was born on March 11, 1963, in Linton, IN. Zina's parents were the late Honore 'Red' Mounier and Ann J. (Mason) Mounier. On July 18, 1987, she married Bobby G. Bennett.

Zina attended the 12th St. Church of God. She was a Registered Nurse and worked at Greene County General Hospital for over 20 years.

Survivors include ZinaA's mother, Ann M. Mounier; a half-brother, James Mounier of IL; three aunts, Becky (Rick) Jacobshagen of Linton, Hazel (Bob) Fiscus and Betty Martindale, both of Jasonville; an uncle, Joe Mason of Linton; and several nieces and nephews.

Zina was preceded in death by her father, her husband Bobby Bennett (2005), and her half-sister Shirley Gillespie.

The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sat., Jan. 11, 2014, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton. Pastor Bob Phelps will officiate and interment will follow at the Scotland Cemetery in Scotland, IN.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM on Sat., Jan. 11, 2014.
