Zola Mildred (Rose) Stone, 93, of Linton, IN, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at the Linton Nursing and Rehab Facility in Linton. She was born on May 13, 1918 in Linton, IN to Obediah Dyar and Dora (Sanders) Rose. Zola married Rev. Ivan R. Stone on March 18, 1942.

Zola was employed with Cincinnati, OH Bell Telephone Company for over 30 years. She was a member of the Church of God and her hobbies included her ministry of corresponding with family and friends, sewing, collecting dolls and post cards.

Zola is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and several friends that were as family.

Zola was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rev. Ivan R. Stone (May 21, 2007); six brothers, Edson, Thedore, Carl, Max, Arthur and William D. Rose; four sisters, Audrey Wheatley, Agnes Willis, Emily Thomas and Maxine Veirs.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, February 25, 2012, at 11:00 am at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, IN with Rev. Russell Black officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN.

Visitation hours will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 24, 2012 and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday, at the funeral home.
