Barbara C. Sutt, 81, of Dugger, Indiana, passed peacefully from this life, with her family by side, on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Sullivan Community Hospital. She was born May 7, 1944, in Lexington, Kentucky to Horace D. and Gladys M. (Lear) Burton. Barbara married her loving husband, Allen R. Sutt, on December 10, 1994.

Barbara was employed as a retail warehouse worker for many years. Outside of work, she enjoyed spending time with her family, tending her flowers, and shopping trips.

Family left to cherish the memories of Barbara include: her husband, Allen Sutt; sons, Paul (Nena) Maak, Steven (Stephanie) Sutt; daughters, Michelle (Barry) Horne, Rosie (Jeff) Maak, Tina (Jason) Manual and Tammy Sutt; also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Helen Maak; four brothers, Roy, Doug, Bill and Jerry Burton.

Honoring Barbara’s wishes there will be no public visitation or services.
