Brenda K. (Anderson) Fritz

Brenda Kay Fritz, 60, of Linton, Indiana, went to Heaven on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at her residence with her family by her side. She was born on February 26, 1961, in Linton, IN the daughter of Roy Elmer and Helen Margaret (Phegley) Anderson.   

Brenda proudly served our country in the United States Army. She attended the Lyons Community Church and worked at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Family left to cherish the memory of Brenda include: her daughter, Sarah (Levi) Bowers of Linton; grandchildren, Canaan and Sidney; brother, Marvin (Tammy) Anderson of Spencer and sister, Evelyn Hamm of Lyons.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Heather Dawn Fritz; brother, Roy Michael ‘Mike’ Anderson; and sister, Linda Mae Anderson.

Funeral Services for Brenda will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday January 25, 2022, at Meng Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Robby Hamm officiating. Brenda will be laid to rest next to her daughter at Antioch Cemetery in Bloomfield. Graveside Military Rites will be provided by the Bloomfield American Legion. Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday evening at the funeral home.  

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Resurrecting Recovery Center at 174 N. St. Rd. 57 Bloomfield, IN 47424. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
