Carole Y. (Brewer) Haldeman

Carole Y. Haldeman, 83, of Linton, Indiana, passed away with family by her side, on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at her home. She was born on February 22, 1939 in Dugger, Indiana to Richard William and Geneva Margaret (Shoopman) Brewer. Carole married the love of her life, Jimmy L. Haldeman on April 10, 1955.

Carole attended 12th Street Church of God. She enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her home and family. She also worked for several years as an LPN.

Family left to cherish the memory of Carole include: two son, Michael Haldeman and Monty (Kim) Haldeman; one daughter, Michelle Haldeman, all of Linton; eight grandchildren, Dr. Clayton (Rosie) Haldeman, Courtney (Bryce) Hunt, Nichole Haldeman, Jermey (Stacy) Haldeman, Elijah Haldeman, Elese (Ethan) Resler, Dustin Haldeman and Brooke Haldeman. Several great-grandchildren also survive.

Carole was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Jimmy Haldeman; sister, Betty Joanne Dillingham; brothers, Richard ‘Dickie’ Brewer and Jackie Lee Brewer.

Funeral services to honor the life of Carole will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Pastor Chris Ferguson officiating. Carole will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Family and friends may call from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 21 at the funeral home.
