Chris D. Curry, of Solsberry, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at his residence. He was born on May 9th, 1953 in Hicksville, Ohio to Maurice Dale and Nancy Jane (Antrim) Curry. Chris married the love of his life, Marilyn G. (Heaton) Curry on May 23rd, 1992.

Chris was a US Navy veteran serving during Desert Storm. He was a member of the Solsberry Community Church and was a Cub Scout leader for several years. Chris also served 35 years at St. Vincent Dunn Memorial Hospital as a Medical Laboratory Technician, retiring in 2024.

Family left to cherish the memory of Chris include: his wife, Marilyn Curry; 2 sons, Adam Wesley Curry of Solsberry, and Owen Thomas Curry of Bloomington; one granddaughter, Addilynn Marie Jewell Curry; one sister, Colby (John) Cline of Kokomo, as well as 5 nephews and 1 niece.

He is preceded by death by his parents.

Services to honor Chris will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Solsberry Community Church with Pastor Matthew Whitacre officiating. Military rites will be presented by Solsberry American Legion Post #450. Chris will be laid to rest in Solsberry Cemetery at a later date.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, February 16, 2026, and from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Solsberry Community Church or ALS. Envelopes will be available at the church.
