Daniel Lee Sanders, 75, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. He was born on September 28, 1949 in Marshall, Michigan to Robert Clair and Carole (Shreve) Sanders.

Daniel graduated from Harper Creek High School in Battle Creek, Michigan in 1968. He then served in the US Marines Corp. When discharged from the Marines, he purchased a 1968 Ford Mustang GT 390 Fastback, which he loved and attended Kellogg Community College where he earned an Associate’s Degree.

He was a truck driver for many years and then was a delivery driver for O’Reilly’s. Daniel loved his Harley motorcycle, enjoyed his guns, working on old cars, trucks and motorcycles.

Family left to cherish the memory of Daniel include two sisters, Marcia (Dennis) McElrath of Manistee, MI and Effie Suzanne (John) Rapson of Battle Creek, MI; good friends, Chuck and Jill Wilkes of Linton.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents.

Daniel will be laid to rest in Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan at a later date.
