Delanie Lauran Hayes was born resting in the arms of Jesus on Monday, March 2, 2020 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN to Ryan Scot and Mary Elizabeth (Shafford) Hayes.

Delanie is survived by her parents; older brother, Caiden Hayes; maternal grandparents, Thomas ‘Bart’ and Patrice Shafford of Linton; paternal grandmother, Laura Hayes (Mike Perkins) of Terre Haute; paternal great-grandfather Toby Fields (Cheryl) of Terre Haute; uncle, Jason (Heather) Shafford of Linton; cousins, Mercedes and Vanessa Shafford, both of Linton.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather.
