Delores E. Inman, 88, of Sandborn, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the Lodge of the Wabash in Vincennes. She was born on April 8, 1933 in Daviess County, Indiana, to Marvin and Sadie (McLin) Roark. She married Floyd Gene Inman on April 8, 1952.
Delores was a member of the Sandborn United Methodist Church, Rebekah Lodge, Order of Eastern Star Chapter #140 and the Red Hat Society. She worked at General Electric in Linton, retiring in 1985 with 20 years of service.
Gene and Delores enjoyed boating, skiing, and camping with family and friends for many years. They also enjoyed square dancing with the Silver Dollar Spinners. With several other couples, they rode their Honda Gold Wing motorcycle on many nice days.
Family left to cherish the memory of Delores include: her daughter, Linda E. Painter of Vincennes; her son, Kenneth R. Inman of Greenfield; her grandchildren, Ross (Sarah) Blubaum of Rockport, Kegan L. Inman of Linton; two great-grandchildren, Emilie Bender and Chase Blubaum and one brother, Jimmie (Karen) Roark of Oaktown.
Delores was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Floyd Gene Inman; son, Robert G. Inman; sister, Elizabeth Purcell and brothers, Morris, Robert, Glen, Neal and baby Joe Roark.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Sandborn United Methodist Church with Bryan Sanders officiating. Delores will be laid to rest in Asbury Chapel Cemetery in Bicknell.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Sunday, April 11 and from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Monday at the church.
