Dixie Jean Kinser, 20 days old, went sweetly to rest in Jesus’ arms, on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was born on April 10, 2023, to Mark Anthony and Amanda Jean (Gardner) Kinser.


Dixie is survived by her parents, Mark and Amanda Kinser of Coal City; twin sister, Allison Sue Kinser; maternal grandparents, James and Kimberly Gardner of Coal City; paternal grandparents, Linda Kinser of Coal City and Dwain (Dawn) Kinser of Patricksburg; aunts and uncles, James A. (Katlyn) Gardner, Becky (Steven) Bye, Aaron (Haylee) Kinser, Ben (Morgan) Kinser and several cousins.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 AM on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Linton. Dixie will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.


Family and friends may call from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Thursday at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton.
