Doris J. (Bruner) Hasler

Doris J. (Bruner) Hasler, 90, of Linton, Indiana, went to Heaven peacefully, on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton. She was born on February 22, 1931 in Greene County, Indiana to Clyde and Mary Anna (Mowery) Bruner. Doris married Ralph Lee Hasler, who passed away in 1952.

Doris was of the Christian faith. She worked for many years at the Linton General Electric Plant. Doris enjoyed drawing, coloring and was known for her delicious noodles and pies.

Family left to cherish the memory of Doris include: one daughter, Jean Lisman of Linton; grandchildren, Angela (Steve) Barnett, Ray Lisman (Mary Batchelor) and Michael Hasler; four great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Vernon (Jan) Mowery of Yorktown, IN; sister, Elsie Faye French of Linton; sister-in-law, Marjorie Stollings; several nieces and nephews.

Doris was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Ralph Hasler; son, Gerald ‘Wayne’ Hasler; grandson, Ron Smith; brothers, Robert Bruner, William A. ‘Billy’ Mowery and Isaac Mowery; sisters, Mary Campbell, Margaret ‘Ruth’ Foster and Bonnie Phillips.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton. Doris will be laid to rest in Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Newberry.

Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
