Eddie A. Jerrell, 72, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at his home. He was born on September 11, 1949, in Greene County, Indiana to Luther David and Mary Elizabeth (Mason) Jerrell. Eddie married Wilma Hardesty-Jerrell on October 4, 1986.

Eddie was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1434 and a member of the Dugger Masonic Lodge #721 F & AM. He was an auxiliary operator at the Merom Generation Power Plant, retiring on August 10, 1994.

Those left to cherish the memories of Eddie include: his sister, Betty (Jerry) Riehle of Linton and his brothers, Arthur ‘Red’ (Nina) Jerrell, Robert Jerrell, Dan Jerrell and Bill Jerrell, all of Linton, IN and Mike Jerrell of Princeton, IN.

Eddie was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Wilma Hardesty-Jerrell; and brothers James, David, Joe, Roy Lee, Donald and Larry Jerrell.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Bert Baker and JD Rose officiating. Eddie will be laid to rest in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Dugger.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, October 22, 2021 and from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. Dugger Masonic Lodge #721 F & AM will have a memorial service at 7:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
