Eddy L. Alderson, 72, of Linton, IN, passed peacefully from this life, with family by his side, on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on August 29, 1952, in Linton, IN, to Herbert ‘Bruce’ and Mary E. (Rose) Alderson.

Eddy was of the Christian faith and worked for the General Electric Plant in Linton. Outside of work, Eddy was a known Jeopardy expert and could answer any and every question, regardless of the subject matter.

Those left to cherish memories of Eddy include his sister, Brucetta Jane (John) May, of Linton; brother, Bruce ‘Herb’ (Nancy) Alderson Jr, of Washington, also, several nieces and nephews.

Eddy was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Mary Alderson, nephew, Brian Alderson, as well as his faithful, four-legged companions, Tyke and Bobo.

Graveside Funeral Services to honor Eddy’s life will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.  

Family and friends may call from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 27, prior to the 11:00 AM service at the cemetery in Linton.
