Glenda J. (Lynn) Bough

Glenda J. Bough, 78, of Bloomfield, Indiana, passed away with family by her side, on Monday, May 8, 2023, at her residence. She was born on February 3, 1945, in Duncan, Oklahoma to Winford E. and Thelma M. (Maddox) Lynn. Glenda married the love of her life, John R. Bough, on September 4, 1964.

Glenda was a member of Hymera Southern Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing gospel music in church and loved doing crafts and fishing. Glenda most enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her home and family.

Family left to cherish the memory of Glenda include her husband, John Bough; two daughters, Cherylynn (Ed) McCammon of Sullivan and Shawn Bough of Bloomfield; two grandchildren, Tiffany Loftis, and Chris (Alaiszia) Stillwell, and great-grandchildren, Lane, Cody, and Milo.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Winford E. and Thelma A. (Maddox) Lynn, four brothers and one sister.

Funeral services to honor the life of Glenda will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Pastor Kenan Bowling officiating.  Glenda will be laid to rest in Howell Cemetery in Koleen, Indiana.

Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 11th and from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home.
