Glenn R. Sheffler

Glenn R. Sheffler, 71, of Sullivan, Indiana, passed away with loved ones by his side, on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at his home. He was born on February 18, 1950 in Sullivan to Glenn R. and Lotus (Turpen) Sheffler.

Glenn was a US Navy veteran, serving during the Vietnam era. He worked in the Janitorial Department at Walmart, retiring in 2021 with 20 years of service.

Family left to cherish the memories of Glenn include: one brother, Tim (Susan) Sheffler of Farmersburg; one sister, Mary Ann Brown of Odon; special caregivers, niece Twila Land Collins and her husband, Tom and Shannon Land-Vallad. Glenn is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Glenn was preceded in death by: his parents; one sister, Velda Land; three brothers, Norman, Jerry and Charles Sheffler.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Chaplain Steve Blaydes officiating. Glenn will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton. Military Rites will be provided by Linton American Legion Post #22.

Family and friends may call from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
