Keith A. Gambill Obituary

Keith A. Gambill, 80, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022 at his home. He was born on September 2, 1942 in Linton to Donald James and Eva M. (Miller) Gambill. Keith married his loving wife, Cheryl L. (VanDoring) Gambill on May 14, 1994.


Keith was a US Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0064 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 4509, both in Okeechobee, FL. Keith worked for many years as a heavy equipment mechanic and a welder.


Family left to cherish the memories of Keith include: his wife, Cheryl L. Gambill; son, Keith (Tony) Gambill of Evansville; daughters, Tia (David) Jameson of Logansport and Kelly (Chris) Atkinson of Sullivan; grandchildren, Sarah Jameson, Austin Jameson, Abby Atkinson, McKenzie Atkinson and Katie Atkinson; one brother-in-law, Harry Stone of Indianapolis.


Keith was preceded in death by: his parents; one brother, Donald F. Gambill and one sister, Sandra Gambill Stone.


Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Larry Dyer officiating. Military rites will be presented at the funeral home by the American Legion Post #22. Keith will be laid to rest in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lyons.


Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
