Laura J. Walker, 67, of Linton, Indiana, went to Heaven peacefully, on Thursday, April 23, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born in Knox County, Indiana on March 21, 1953 to Frederick Ralph and Jennie M. (Hamke) Albrecht.

Laura worked at the Lyons Medical Clinic until the 80’s and for the eye doctor, Dr. Robert Sullivan, before becoming a bank teller at Bloomfield State Bank and then Mutual Bank. She retired in 2018. Laura enjoyed reading, crafting and spending time with her family.

Family left to cherish the memory of Laura include: one son, Stephen Walker of Linton; one daughter, Lisa (Matt) Bredeweg of Linton; three grandchildren, Wyatt, Hannah and Grace; one brother, John Albrecht of Washington, IN.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Dean Albrecht and sister-in-law, Nancy Albrecht.

A private graveside service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Mariah Creek Cemetery in Bicknell with Archie Ellett officiating.
