Lucille Ann (Ondercho) Elliott Obituary

Lucille A. Elliott, 98, of Linton, Indiana, passed from this life with her loving family by her side, on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Glenburn Home. Born March 16, 1926, in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Malick) Ondercho. She married Robert E. Elliott on June 10, 1948. They moved to Linton in 1955 when the business of Linton Glass Company, Inc, was formed. He died on August 29, 1975.


Lucille was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church. She worked for Linton Glass Co., Inc., for 16 years, then for Peoples Trust Company Bank of Linton and retired from Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Indiana in 1994.


Family left to cherish the memories of Lucille include her two sons, Wayne (Kathy) Elliott of Linton, Lee Elliott (Brigette Martin) of Terre Haute, grandchildren, Joshua (Rachel) Elliott, Kylie (Michael) Murphy; great-grandchildren, Ava and Claire. Her sister, Betty Spurgen of Lombard, IL.


Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, two sisters and three brothers.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Linton with Father Srinivasa Malaka officiating. Lucille will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.


Family and friends may call from 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton.


Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Peter Catholic Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
