Macel K. ‘Micki’ McCammon, 92, of Linton, Indiana, passed away with family by her side, on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at her home. She was born in Odon, Indiana on January 25, 1927 to William C. and Odessa V. (Copenhaver) Foster. Micki married Thomas P. McCammon on June 15, 1946.

Micki was a member of the Sullivan Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was a homemaker and a devoted housewife. Micki enjoyed playing cards, quilting, reading, watching and being around her grandchildren.

Family left to cherish the memory of Micki include: four daughters, Cheri DeFur (fiance’ Clifford Steece, Sr.) of Odessa, TX, Gaye (Daniel) Rodriquez, Melanie (Michael) Goodman and Michele (David, Jr.) Pearson, all of Linton; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Micki was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Thomas McCammon, two daughters, Cindy Olson and Cathy McCammon; one brother, John Foster and one sister, Erma Byrer.

Funeral services to honor the life of Micki will be at 1:00 PM on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Meng Family Funeral Homes, Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Brother James Mason officiating. Micki will be laid to rest with her husband in Fairview Cemetery in Linton at a later date.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
