Nancy A. (Bumberger) Fletcher

Nancy A. Fletcher, 69, of Linton, Indiana, passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side, on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at her home. She was born on November 24, 1952 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Edwards Charles, Sr. and Orvetta May (Ketrow) Bumberger. Nancy married her loving husband of 38 years, Daniel Lee Fletcher, on May 10, 1984.

Nancy was a member of the VFW Post #6978 in Whiteland, Indiana. She was loved by many and had a heart of gold. Nancy was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, cooking, being outdoors, fishing, going to casinos and drinking beer. She loved all animals and was always concerned for their wellbeing.

Family left to cherish the many memories of Nancy include: her husband, Dan Fletcher of Linton; children, daughter, Christina (Randall) Jacobsen of Franklin, son, Brian (Jennifer) Fletcher of French Lick, daughter, Michelle Sizemore of Switz City, son, Adam Fletcher of Bedford; her beloved Pug, Buddy; her eight grandchildren, Levi Fletcher, Brandon (Leatha) Jacobsen, Brooklyn Sizemore, Cheyanne (Johnathan) Lanham, Abigail (Parker) Roarke, CJ Aaron, Kaden VanCleave and Adyson VanCleave; her five great-grandchildren, Landon Jacobsen, Aiden Lanham, Skylar Fletcher, Colton Lanham and Roman Johnson; four sisters, Carol Lasiter, Cathy Buchanan, Diane Robinette and Cindy (Todd) Dailey. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Eddie Bumberger, Jr.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton. There will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 28 at 2:00 PM at Nancy’s residence.

In lieu of flowers, Nancy requested donations for the Greene County Animal Shelter via a 3rd party check made out to Daniel Fletcher and the Greene County Animal Shelter.
