Nancy L. Stewart, 76, of Linton, Indiana, passed away peacefully, on Monday, May 18, 2020 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born on May 17, 1944 in Greene County, Indiana to Troy and Belvia (Deckard) Scroggins.

Nancy was a homemaker, mother and grandma. She took great pride in taking care of her home and family.

Family left to cherish the memory of Nancy include: three sons, Chuck W. (Linda Ludington) Stewart, Tony D. (Julia) Stewart and Jason T. (Tracy) Stewart, all of Linton; grandchildren, Nikki (Eric) Page, Emili (fiance’ Nick Lecocq) Coffey, Dustin Stewart, Stephenie (Brock) Howell, Samantha Stewart, Sean (Bria) Stewart and Ryan (Alex Christmas) Prater; several great-grandchildren and one brother, Larry Scroggins.

Nancy was preceded in death by: her parents; one grandson, Steven Stewart; three sisters, Wilma, Dorothy and Treva.

A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Switz City Cemetery with Rev. Dick Smith officiating.
