Norma J. (McPhail) Miller

Norma J. Miller, 91, of Linton, Indiana passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Glenburn Home in Linton, Indiana.  She was born in Greene County, Indiana on June 2, 1928 to John and Anna (Perkins) McPhail.  She was married to Branch Hunter and after his passing she married Frank Miller, Jr. on July 20, 1975. 

Norma was a member of the Linton First Baptist Church in Linton, Indiana.  She worked in sales at Indiana Bell Telephone, where she retired in 1975. Norma enjoyed gardening, outdoor activities and volunteering at her church. She also loved visiting with dear friends and watching her granddaughters thrive. Her kindness and caring ways will be sadly missed.

Family members left to cherish Norma include: her husband, Frank Miller, Jr; one daughter, Susan (Bradley) Wright of Noblesville; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Nathan) Doll of Leesburg and Katie (Brian) Lauer of Fisher; and by her nieces and nephews.

Norma was preceded in death by: her parents; first husband, Branch Hunter; son,

Steven Ray Hunter; three sisters, Mary Maddison Ruth Dean Hubble and Doris Huffman..

There will be a private service honoring the life of Norma on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Meng Family Funeral Homes, Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Pastor David Tyra officiating. She will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Norma to Linton First Baptist Church, 1950 E State Highway 54, Linton, Indiana 47441.
