Owen Lee Richardson, 94, of Rockville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at his home. He was born on November 23, 1929 in Dugger, Indiana to Charles and Edith (Lynn) Richardson. Lee married the love of his life, W. Jeanne (Booher) Richardson in 1949.

Lee was a member of the Ellis Church of Christ. He worked for the City of Indianapolis as a Deputy Director of Department of Administration until his retirement in 1995. Lee owned Holiday Rest Campground in Rockville.

Family left to cherish the memories of Lee include: one son, Mark G. (Patty) Richardson of Rockville; one daughter, Lizbeth Ann ‘Beth’ (Robert) Kirk of Texas; grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer) Richardson, Kim Bauer and Matthew Bridges; great-grandchildren, Aaron Schaler, Ally, Ragan & Cash Bauer, Corban & Seth Richardson and Trey Ostrom; great-great-grandchildren, Brooks and Blaire Schaler; brother, Donald Eugene (Janice) Richardson of Champaign, IL.

Lee was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Jeanne Richardson; one granddaughter, Brianne Marie Richardson; two brothers, Charles Richardson and Harold Richardson.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 19, 2024 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton. Family and friends may call from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Lee will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton at a later date.
