Phyllis Lee (Lehman) Millick, 89, of Linton, Indiana, passed away with family by her side, on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton. She was born on December 21, 1933, in Linton to Don G. and Ollie (Carrico) Lehman. Phyllis married the love of her life, Lowery David Millick on January 1, 1953.
Phyllis was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church and worked at May’s Flower Shop for many years. She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother, raising her children while her husband was away serving in the US Air Force in the Vietnam War. Phyllis was also involved in the Red Cross during this time.
Family left to cherish the memories of Phyllis include: two sons, Kenneth I. (Elizabeth) Millick and David B. (Tish) Millick; one daughter, Denise A. (David) Beck, all of Linton; grandchildren, Brandon Millick, Danielle Leigh, Erik Millick, Brittnie Chambers, Isaac, Elijah and Abram Beck; Ethan and Madison Millick; great-grandchildren, Paige, Gavin, Jaden, Brayden, Kaden, Carsyn, Westin, Katelyn, Bradie, Wren, Alea, Avery, Trenton, Jase, Riker, Willow, Knox, Wesley and Lane; brother, Conrad (Carmen) Botsford and sister, Amy Lou (George) Tucker, both of Linton.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Lowery David Millick; her parents, Don Lehman and Ollie Lehman Botsford; infant grandchild, Isaiah; three brothers, Donnie Lehman, Charles Botsford and Terry Botsford; nine sisters, Mary Gates, Martha Daily, Margie Hinkle, Betty Anderson, Esther Himebrook, Ethel York, Thyra Hartt, Nancy Ulrich and infant sister, Virginia Rose Lehman.
Funeral services to honor the life of Phyllis will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 21, 2023, at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Grandson, Abram Beck officiating. Phyllis will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
