Rodney 'Keith' Hembree

Rodney Keith Hembree, 72, of Linton, Indiana, went to Heaven on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton. He was born on August 7, 1950 in Washington, Indiana to Woodrow and Joyce (Winneger) Hembree Trambaugh. Keith married his loving wife, Leslie Ann (Ball) Hembree on April 26, 1985.

Keith was veteran of the US Air Force, serving in the Vietnam Era as a Medic and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He retired in 2009 from General Electric Bloomington Plant with over 20 years of service. Keith enjoyed sending birthday cards to his siblings with the correct amount of change representing their age.

Family left to cherish the memory of Keith include: his wife, Leslie Hembree; three sons: Eric Thomas of Washington, Brandon Hembree of Linton and Matthew Sheetz of Bloomfield; two grandchildren; one brother, Richard (Mary) Hembree of St. Anthony; three sisters, Mae Horsting, Faye (Chris) Holland and his twin sister, Kaye Matthews, all of Loogootee.

Keith was preceded in death by: his parents; two sisters, Janice Peoples and Rose Steward; five brothers, infant Ronald J., Merlin, Wally, Dwight and Dennis Hembree.

Funeral services to honor the life of Keith will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Pastor John Riker and Pastor David Ball officiating. Keith will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 29 at the funeral home.
