Shirley A (Breslin) Worland

Shirley Ann Worland, 56, of Lyons, Indiana, left this earthly realm on February 1, 2022.  She was born March 18, 1965 at Fort Ord, California to Cecilia Marie (Howard) and Richard Breslin, both of which preceded her in death. She married Raymond G. Worland on October 19, 2002.

Shirley was a member of the Sandborn First Christian Church and was employed by Cook Medical for 10 years before becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed all crafts and painting and could easily be found making and bejeweling something for friends and family. Shirley valued and loved her children and grandchildren as well as her numerous pets she considered as such. 

Left to cherish memories of Shirley are: her husband, Ray Worland; children: Joseph (Fae) Catt, Renee (Steve) Schopmeyer and Stephanie (Ralph) Lifford; grandchildren: Tyler Veale, Brandt and Valerie Catt, Evelynn, Orrin and Arliss Schopmeyer, Lawrence Lifford, as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Joseph Neal.

Funeral services will be at 6:00 PM on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Bryan Sanders officiating.  

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Breast Cancer Awareness. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
