Verna Jean (Lynch) Abram

Verna ‘Jean’ Abram, 85, of Dugger, Indiana, passed from this life to Heaven, on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at her home. She was born on January 3, 1939 in Linton, Indiana to Clarence Wilford ‘Bill’ and Verna Marie (Blough) Lynch. Jean married the love of her life, her husband of 66 years, Jerry Lee Abram on August 18, 1957.

Jean was a member of the Linton Church of Christ. She dedicated her life to being a homemaker, wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma. She enjoyed caring for her family, cooking, bowling, playing Euchre and riding the motorcycle with Jerry.

Family left to cherish the memories of Jean include: her husband, Jerry Abram; one daughter, Lorna (Rick) Tribby of Odon; grandson, Jess (Rachel) Tribby and great-granddaughter, Iris.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Bro. Pat Kelly officiating. Jean will be laid to rest in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lyons.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, February 18, 2024 and from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Linton Church of Christ. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
