Virgil T. Duncan

Virgil T. Duncan, 85, of Worthington, Indiana, passed away on June 17, 2023. He was born August 10, 1937, in Springville, Indiana, to Vint and Augusta (Dover) Duncan. He married Carolyn F. (Hagemeier) on November 27, 1986

Virgil Served in the US Navy during the Korean War. Virgil spent many years Driving for IV Coach where afterwards he was a police officer for towns of Sandborn, Lyons, and Worthington.

Virgil was a member of Elnora Masonic Lodge 616 F & AM

Family left to cherish the memory of Virgil include his wife, Carolyn F. (Hagemeier) Duncan; his children, Virgil Duncan II of Ocala FL, JK Duncan of Linton, stepdaughter Tonia Long and Sharon Hansel both of Worthington. Also, survived by his nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Virgil was preceded in death by his parents, three sons, two brothers and one sister.

Graveside services to honor the life of Virgil will be June 23, 2023, at 1:00 pm with a Masonic Memorial Service.  He will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery, Linton, Indiana.
