William Donald Sullivan, age 55, from Haughton, Louisiana, passed from this life on Friday, May 16, 2025 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born August 26, 1969 in Washington, Indiana to Jerry C. Sullivan and Betty Jo Rogers. William married the love of his life, Rebekkah R. (Gee) Sullivan, on April 8, 1989.

William was a man of faith and a member of the Sandborn Baptist Church. He loved his country and dedicated many years of service as a Major in the US Army. After retiring in 2013, he worked at Barksdale Air Force Base.

Family left to cherish William’s memory include: his wife, Rebekkah Sullivan; sons, Bryan Wheat, Jerry Sullivan, and William Sullivan II; grandsons, Brayden and Conner; mother, Betty Jo Rogers; sisters, Kimberly (Gordon) Potts, Kathy (Rob) Gilliland, and Karen (Bobby) Hatton. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

William was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Meng Family Funeral Homes, Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton. Military honors will be presented by the American Legion Post #22. William will be laid to rest in Sandborn Cemetery.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
