William 'Bill' G. Pieper

William G.‘Bill’ Pieper, 78, of Sandborn, Indiana, went to Heaven peacefully on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. He was born on May 31, 1947, in Vincennes to Vernon E. and Betty Jean (Queen) Pieper. Bill married the love of his life, Pamela Gail (Johnson) Pieper on August 21, 1968.

Bill was a minister of the Gospel for 56 years, serving in Savannah, GA, Cadiz, KY, Dover, TN, Earlington, KY, Hartford City, IN and Vincennes, IN. He loved gardening, canning, woodworking and carpentry work.

Family left to cherish the memories of Bill include sister, Carol Etmeier of Sandborn; brothers, Jim (Lois) Pieper of Sandborn and Fred (Karen) Pieper of Ellettsville; several nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Pam Pieper; mother, Betty Pieper; father, Vernon Pieper and sister, Sharon Noland.

Funeral services to honor the life of Bill will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Pastor Jeff Shick officiating. Bill will be laid to rest in Salem Cemetery in Westphalia.

Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Christian Church Disciples of Christ Vincennes or Salem United Church of Christ.
