Travis Kyle Woodruff

Travis Kyle Woodruff, 33, of Odon, Indiana, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on February 17th, 2015. He was born on April 7th, 1981 in Washington, Indiana to Ronald and Linda (Bechtel) Woodruff and grew up in Plainville.

Travis graduated from North Daviess High School in 1999 and Vincennes University in 2002 with a degree in Electronics Technology. While in high school, he worked at Cornelius Service and then worked at Cornelius Manufacturing for 12 years and had been employed on the family farm for the past year.

Travis enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, water skiing and spending time with family and friends at the boat club. He also loved sports, especially football.

Travis is survived by: his parents, Ronald and Linda Woodruff of Plainville; a brother, Bryan (Jennifer) Woodruff of Odon; two nephews, Grant and Landon; one niece, Ella; grandparents, Richard and Mary Woodruff, Richard and Janet Cottrell, Rex and Linda Bechtel; eight aunts; seven uncles and eleven cousins. He was preceded in death by his Uncle William David Asdell.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 23^rd at the Odon Christian Church with Richard Crabtree and Rev. Bob Tipton officiating. A private graveside service will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon. The Woodruff Family has asked some of Travis’ friends to be Casket Bearers: Paul Morris, Brett Crays, Warren Rhoton, Adam Thorne, Jesse Swartzentruber, Larry Wagler, BJ Sanders, Eric Wagler, Mark Miller, Alan Marner, Tyson Swartzentruber and Matt Brinegar.

Visitation will be held from 3 PM until 8 PM on Sunday, February 22^nd at the church and from 10 AM until the time of service on Monday.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to The Travis Burkhart Foundation, 10274 N 200 E, Plainville, IN 47568 or online at www.travisburkhartfoundation.com. Envelopes will also be available at the church.
